This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've neglected the journal feature on deviant art for years now. I suppose it's time. (Beats MySpace)
Things have slowed down a bit for me on the internet. Ive adopted a family of three kids and a gorgeous Indonesian woman. Something not expected, telling myself Id never date a woman with kids again. Finding time to do the regular routine is difficult due to my commitment in this relationship, but shes forgiving to a good degree so Im lucky. Internet gaming is at a complete stand still because I need to reformat (Windows XP install date May, 2005) and Im too lazy and too busy with other projects to get it done. I know its inevitable though but was hoping to get it done for the PC upgrade instead.
Graphically, things are great! Work projects could be more consistent, but I blame my for not committing to finding more and with real life taking more of a priority, balancing ways to make money is proving to be a challenge. That doesnt mean I wouldnt take the job though. I havent had any particular Photoshop focus, just doing work projects, mainly websites and logos as needed and trying to define my scene rendering abilities. Im beginning to realize that Im the Bob Ross of graphic design. My non web work is decent, but I really dont put that much time and skill into it. I just use a lot of smoke and mirrors to make it look like Ive done a lot. In that Ive decided I should take graphic and web design more seriously if Im going to make a good living off of it. The woman has also established that if I dont start picking a career and going with it, she wont be around for long. I feel my web graphic design skills are adequate but my knowledge of proper set and print are lacking and my coding/scripting knowledge are almost none existent (Thank you Chase and Dreamweaver). I manage to never have an issue getting a project finished on time and looking good. Its just time for me to take the next step and round it all out If I can get some quiet time around the house..
