Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

To my wonderful customers and followers:

Sorry about that. I posted early this month that I'd be outing more PSD devices listed in my last blog post. [link] Some of you have emailed or messaged me asking when you can expect certain devices listed to be released. I've been wrapping up some corporate projects and fully intent to get going on PSD device work within the next week. It's been an insane summer and balancing family and work has been a struggle. September will see more activity. Thanks for hanging in there with me and I look forward to getting more devices out for you all.

I've seen two official Apple iPhone 5 concepts that never made production. I think I've finally seen the final production version. Once I get confirmation that it is, expect an iPhone 5 PSD well before the phone is announced or released. In fact, like a few of my devices, it may be the first time anyone has seen the device outside of Apple. *keeps fingers crossed* Read my previous blog for more details.

Yeah, me either. So anxious to get going on the iPhone 5 PSD. I wont say putting these PSD's together is a visionary attribute, but your right. Studying, planning and understanding how the piece is put together is much like engineering. I afraid to admit that when using references, my PSD's rarely turn out "perfect". But I try and get them close.

I never thought about it before but you make these for a living? I'm just trying to find my place in things. I seem to jump around a lot and do different things. I kinda like doing the devices but its hard to find the plans for them. I did for the Apple stuff but after a bit I was think they were for making cases for them. The way you talk its like you get commissioned from companies to make these? or maybe not...

It would be cool to see the iPhone 5, I plan to get the iPhone but I am waiting for the release of them.... I remember seeing your work for the first time and I had to download a psd because I thought they were photographs..... I just thought they looked to real..

I began doing these for free and was able to hone my skill a bit in doing so. The feedback I got helped me greatly. Because they are time consuming to make, in order to keep doing them I needed to justify it. Dabbling in different art concepts is a great idea. Keep doing that. I do get commissioned to do concept and interface design.

Thanks for that. It sounds a bit cocky, but I love it when people don't see what the big deal is and think that I crop an image of the device before they actually download and take the PSD apart.
